Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed is one of those whose history of Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal is rich in name and fame. He became a great man in struggle and pursuit, in the ordeal of patriotism and in ideals and sacrifice. Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, a former golden success of Chhatra Dal and a member of the National Standing Committee of BNP, is such a pro-Bangladesh patriotic politician. In return for his immense compassion and commitment to the country and the people, the public draws dreams around him. As a result, the voters have repeatedly sent him to the parliament with huge votes. He is unique in talent, wisdom and ability. The direct mentorship of the national leader Begum Khaleda Zia and the companionship of the acting chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman have made Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed one of the pillars of the Bangladeshi nationalist force. He is an invaluable asset for the patriotic force of Bangladesh.

Because of his uncompromising attitude against Awami fascism and Indian hegemony, courageous leadership and keen intelligence, the fascist Sheikh Hasina was afraid and ordered him to be disappeared. On the direct orders of Sheikh Hasina, Salahuddin Ahmed was disappeared and brutally tortured. Sheikh Hasina's arrogance after the disappearance shows how much personal anger she had harbored against one Salahuddin Ahmed. After being hidden for two long months, Sheikh Hasina was forced to release the dying Salahuddin Ahmed to Indian soil under pressure from the people of the country and international human rights organizations.

Indian authorities arrested him and filed a case against him for illegal entry. He fought a long legal battle to be released on bail. Even after getting bail, he could not leave Shillong due to restrictions imposed by the Indian courts. He lived there openly.

Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed started the politics of the Nationalist Chhatra Dal by taking the hand of the country's leader Begum Khaleda Zia and passed the ultimate test of sacrifice and loyalty step by step. Having passed almost all the stages of the party, he is now the first and so far the only representative of the Chhatra Dal in the National Standing Committee, the highest forum of the BNP. Even while he was in exile in India, he regularly participated in all the meetings of the Standing Committee. He coordinated the programs of the movement at different times. Even during the mass uprising of July-August, he played a role in accelerating the movement by giving various instructions directly to the leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal.

Since I took charge at the top level of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, I personally found Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed as a thoughtful mentor, who always kept the morale up and inspired us to organize the movement. He always said that fascism will fall very soon. Doing politics with his company never made us lose our morale. Rather, we became energized and inspired.

Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed is a true patriotic nationalist leader who believes in religious values. A conspiring group wants to implement their anarchist agenda by making the top leaders of BNP controversial in stages. They are trying to mislead the people by spreading various kinds of rumors and propaganda in the name of the respected Secretary General of BNP, Senior Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed, Standing Committee Member Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed and other top leaders of BNP. This organized propaganda of theirs is part of a domestic and foreign conspiracy.

But these conspirators do not know that leaders like Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed and M. Ilias Ali are the main pillars of the Bangladeshi nationalist force built by the national leader Begum Khaleda Zia.

By spreading lies and propaganda about the disappearance of Salahuddin Ahmed Bhai, a victim of crimes against humanity like disappearance, they are making light of Sheikh Hasina's crimes against humanity. On the one hand, through these propaganda of the conspirators, the narrative of the fallen fascist clique denying their crimes against humanity is being strengthened. On the other hand, there is an attempt to tarnish the image of the nationalist leaders who uphold the country's independence, sovereignty, democracy, and Islamic values. So we have to wonder whether this continuous propaganda and character assassination attempt against patriotic nationalist leaders is part of some hidden agenda of the fallen fascist forces.

The one who returned to his motherland with a great vow of serving the country after spending almost a decade in an alien environment is being subjected to cruel and bitter atrocities! The bleeding of his heart touches the nationalist people with infinite pain…. We can no longer remain silent. With our collective efforts, we want to stop the venom of the conspirators. I and we strongly condemn and protest against such organized propaganda against Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed. I express my commitment that the Nationalist Chhatra Dal will firmly resist any conspiracy of the anti-national forces against Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, the golden crop of Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal.
