
Chief Advisor announced elections in April at the behest of two political parties – Central General Secretary in Noakhali
At a reception at the Shilpakala Academy premises in Noakhali, Chhatra Dal Central General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir said, "About 98 percent of the registered political parties in Bangladesh have said that Bangladesh's national elections should be held by December. But we saw that two political parties in Bangladesh, the newly formed party and especially the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, have said that elections should be held by April. That is why we saw that the chief advisor has announced elections by April."
