Leaders and activists gather in Chittagong to rally for youth political rights
BNP's youth rally was held at the historic Polo Ground in Chittagong to 'establish the political rights of the youth'. The rally started at 3 pm at the city's Polo Ground. Former Bangladesh National Cricket Team captain Tamim Iqbal joined the rally. Some on foot and some in vehicles. Everyone joined in groups. Everyone's destination was the Polo Ground in Chittagong. Everyone was panting in the heat. Even then, they were sitting on the field, ignoring the scorching sun. This was the picture of Chittagong city surrounding the rally to 'establish the political rights of the youth'. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was the chief guest at the rally called at 3 pm. BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury was the special guest. BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman joined virtually from London. The event was jointly organized by the three organiza- tions of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)—Yubdal, Chhatra Dal and Swechchhasebak Dal.
