
Chhatra Dal General Secretary Nasir visited the grave of Shaheed Wasim's father
Chhatra Dal Central General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir has commented that the discrimination that Wasim gave his life to establish a society without discrimination still exists.
The top leader of Chhatra Dal made these remarks after visiting the grave of martyr Wasim Akram in Pekua, Cox's Bazar on Wednesday (July 16) morning. Many leaders and activists, including Chhatra Dal senior vice president Abu Afsan Muhammad Yahia, were present at the time.
In his speech, the Chhatra Dal secretary said that looking only from the party perspective, the state could not give Wasim Akram the due status. The central leaders of Chhatra Dal also expressed hope that all the martyrs would be given due status when the people's government comes to power in the future. Earlier, they met with the family of Shaheed Wasim.
