Nasir Uddin Nasir, central general secretary of the nationalist Chhatra Dal and a postgraduate student in Japanese language at the University of Dhaka, says that Chhatra Dal is interested in developing a peaceful and progressive student politics.
He also demanded that the country's university elections should be conducted in a transparent, credible, and participatory manner.
Nasir Uddin Nasir claimed that the Chhatra Dal was unable to contest properly in some elections due to administration bias and commercial obstacles.
