Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman paid deep tribute to the language martyrs on the first hour of the immortal Ekushey February.






He laid a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital at around 12:01 am on Saturday (February 21). At that time, he stood in silence for a while to pay tribute to the martyrs.
After paying homage, thousands of people gathered at the Shaheed Minar, including the Prime Minister, joined in the prayer for the repose of the souls of the language martyrs.
After the prayer, the Prime Minister, along with cabinet members and her advisors, paid tribute. Then, BNP leaders paid tribute.
