Humble tribute on the great Independence Day of March 26th

March 26, our day of glory—the great Independence Day. On this day, the Bengali nation gained the immortal beginning of independence through a long struggle. On this great day of independence, I remember with deep respect the great independence proclaimer, martyr President Ziaur Rahman, and all the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the war of independence.
It is because of their immense sacrifice, courage and self-sacrifice that we have an independent and sovereign Bangladesh today. This day is a source of inspiration in our national life, which inspires us with patriotism and commits us to contribute to the development of the country.
On this great Independence Day, I pray for the forgiveness of the souls of all the martyrs and pay my humble respects to them.
