Undemocratic forces seized power in Bangladesh on January 11, 2007, with the direct support of domestic and foreign conspirators. The main plan of that regime, known as 'One-Eleven', was to exclude the family of martyred President Ziaur Rahman from politics. As part of the implementation of that plan, BNP's then Senior Joint Secretary General Tarique Rahman was arrested on March 7, 2007, from his house on Mainul Road, which is associated with the memory of Shaheed Zia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After his arrest, Mr. Tarique Rahman, the son of the great independence proclaimer, martyred President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam and three-time former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, was detained in an unknown location and subjected to inhuman torture and oppression. On November 28, 2007, he stood in the courtroom and spoke about that inhuman torture. That torture was a hellish blow to the democracy of Bangladesh. Which was subsequently felt by the whole of Bangladesh at every level. The foundation of the fascist rule of the Awami League was laid by torturing Tarique Rahman in a medieval manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this way, in addition to human rights violations, national hero Tarique Rahman had to be remanded, tortured, and imprisoned for 554 consecutive days in a fabricated case. Even then, the undemocratic evil forces and their allies did not stop. Their main goal was to eliminate Tarique Rahman from politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 3, 2008, national hero Tarique Rahman had to leave his beloved homeland for London for medical treatment. But even then, the sword of lawsuits did not stop. During the undemocratic regime of One-Eleven, 13 cases were filed against him and during the subsequent Awami League regime, 72 cases were filed against him. He was sentenced through a decree in five cases using the court. Not only that, the court also banned the dissemination of Tarique Rahman's statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even such extremely adverse circumstances could not stop Tarique Rahman's struggle. He has been tirelessly active in organizing the anti-fascist masses from abroad. He has been connected with people and party leaders and workers at all levels from the center to the grassroots and has given necessary instructions through virtual means or by phone. Everyone knows about his outstanding role in the last July mass uprising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At this moment, the name of the anti-fascist people is the beacon of hope of the patriotic leader Tarique Rahman. He has become a symbol of Bangladesh's transition to democracy, the establishment of stability by ending chaos, and the improvement of the socio-economic conditions of the people of the country. The people believe that through the return of Tarique Rahman, the train of Bangladesh's return from fascism to democracy will begin its journey, and the country will start moving towards a specific goal from political uncertainty. This return is therefore a historic event in the recent history of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The entire nation is placing its trust and confidence in Mr. Tarique Rahman, who will lead Bangladesh to a stable future by combining the true spirit of 1971 and the aspirations of 24. The return of the patriot Tarique Rahman to his homeland will create the biggest momentum in this journey towards the future of the country. This day of his return is going to have a permanent place in the history of Bangladesh. Tomorrow, December 25, the eyes of all Bangladesh will be on Dhaka's July 36 Expressway (300 feet). There, Bangladesh will give a warm welcome to the patriot Tarique Rahman. After that, the leader of Bangladesh, Mr. Tarique Rahman, will take to the field to build the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the fascist regime, one of the BNP's slogans was 'Tareq Rahman in the guise of a hero, will return to Bangladesh'. Millions of people in Bangladesh are looking forward to welcoming BNP's acting chairman, patriot Tariq Rahman, on December 25. People of all ages, young and old, are weaving dreams around him. Tariq Rahman's return is going to happen in the guise of a hero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, those undemocratic, arrogant vultures who mocked the national leader Tarique Rahman and said, 'If you have the courage, come back to Bangladesh' or 'Don't talk about friends unless you see them', are today being driven out of the country in the face of strong public anger. The people have swept away those fascists. This is what I think is called Natural Justice!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
