Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal Central General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir has asked Hannan Masud and Asif Mahmud to apologize to the nation for spreading false propaganda.
NCP's Hannan Masud, Asif Mahmud and Sadiq Qaim and all those involved must publicly apologize to the nation.
The allegations regarding the Noakhali elephant incident, which were spread in a planned manner, have been proven to be baseless and untrue by the local police administration, doctors and eyewitnesses. A sensitive and sensitive issue has been used for political purposes to create confusion in the public mind—which is highly condemnable and irresponsible behavior.
According to the recorded information, the accused was admitted to the hospital at 10:28 pm on February 13. The claim that he went elsewhere at the same time and committed the incident is contrary to reality and logic. Especially where the journey from Hatia to the District Headquarters Hospital requires more than two hours, the allegation of being present in two places at the same time is clearly inconsistent and questionable.
In view of the situation, Noakhali District Jamaat Ameer Ishaq Khandaker has suspended the program—which further clarifies the different dimensions and underlying reality of the incident.
Using a serious and sensitive allegation like rape as a political tool to create a mob and to discredit a political party is not only a sign of moral decay—it is also dangerous to social stability.
Therefore, a clear demand is made to NCP leaders including Hannan Masud and Asif Mahmud, Shibir, Razakar circles, pro-Jamaat groups, and relevant NCP leaders - they must publicly apologize to the nation and accept responsibility for the false propaganda.
Let the truth be established. Let the propaganda stop. And let the culture of using sensitive issues for political gain be forever avoided.
